We are not afraid to say that we were a little bit scared, way back in 2016 when times seemed simpler and ironically less scary ~ pre covid, pre energy bill hiking and pre brexit, about branching out on our own into the big bad world but in hindsight it was no doubt the best decision we ever made! Today, as we head towards the end of 2022, we continue to go from strength to strength.
It is now more than six years since we started our little journey (in fact we were so busy and moving…YES AGAIN, we completely missed our official birthday at the end of August) and we have managed to build up a wonderful client base. We have clients from all over the country and many of those clients work with us on a regular ongoing basis and some come back to us for further design projects ~ so we must be doing something right!
Studio73 started in Dunfermline, Scotland, a place that is now very close to our hearts and the business now continues to flourish in Suffolk. With all the ‘design’ history, ‘design’ education, ‘design’ projects, ‘design’ agency positions and ‘design’ experience that we have gained from being based in Cornwall, pre Studio73, we have plenty of ‘design’ knowledge under our hats.
Travelling around has given us plenty of variety across all our design projects with the added bonus of meeting and helping some really lovely people, as well as creating some fabulous working collaborations, along with way. You may even spot some wildlife, native to some of the locations we have worked from, featured across our website.
We are so lucky that Graphic Designers can work from anywhere and thankfully Covid did not hit us quite as hard as some other businesses. We have managed to fully recover and, quite incredibly, strengthen since those unprecedented times. Now we just have to worry about paying our rising electric bills!!!
Anyway, we want to say a big thank you to all our clients ~ present, past and future and here’s to the next six! Now anyone for cake, we can still have cake right? (we can always keep and use the candles if we get cut off here lol!)
