Darren Pearshouse, Club DJ
During the Summer (2024) Darren, a trance DJ from the midlands, asked us to create a logo to represent his DJ career when appearing at upcoming events. This new logo also needed to be added to some promotional poster artwork being organised by his promoter the next day.
After looking at the examples he supplied and some quick research we came up with this design.
The Project
The design of Darren’s tag had to fit and sit alongside other DJ names featured on any promo work. The only issue here was the length of Darren’s full name compared to the other DJ’s listed. We wanted to keep the design easy to read ensuring one letter stood out so that it could be used as a standalone icon for versatility across various platforms like social media accounts.
With this in mind, we decided to go for a simple monochromatic color scheme incorporating a mirrored/reflection theme with a star icon to represent fame & quality.
